With that ample ride height, you might think the Crosstrek would be somewhat tipsy in normal motoring tests, but you’d be wrong. This crossover handles the curves with aplomb, and you’re almost never aware of your exalted height. Go figure). With a 6.3 liter 730-hp V12 engine, beautiful aerodynamic body features, and performance that could make a Lamborghini nervous, there isnt much the F12berlinetta doesnt do well. 2014 Audi S7 Review
When it comes to my favorite cars, I can be very picky about whats good enough and whats not. Even though I dont like Audis that much, for some reason I really like the S7. I find its lines much better than the Porsche Panamera, which is its corporate cousin. The S7 is infinitely better looking than the Panamera. The Panamera looks good in its decked-out "Turbo S" trim with black rims and yellow brake calipers, but it isnt very pretty. The S7 is very pretty, and not just on the outside. It has the same 420-hp twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 that youll find in the A8, the S6, and the "V8" Bentley models, such as the Flying spur V8 and the Continental GT V8 S (in those cars, the engine makes 500 hp, but is still the same V8). 0-60 is claimed to take around 4.1 seconds, which is strange compared to the S6, which does it in 3.8. The interior is pretty nice, with diamond-quilted leather (like youd find in a Bentley), Audis mediocre MMI navigation system, and many little buttons to move the seats and do things with them.

Comparison 2015 Nissan GT R vs 2014 Audi R8
When it comes to high-end sports coupes, most people think of brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar. But what most people wont expect is an incredible performer from Nissan, a brand known for small city cars and three-row people carriers. But their performance car, the GT-R, is a very worthy competitor, and I think its only fair to put up against a benchmark sports car, the Audi R8.

I hate myself for putting the R8 in second, but it was obvious that the R8 is not nearly as good as the GT-R. Sure, it might be a million times better looking and has a much better interior (and may I ask: who wants to pay $100K for a Nissan badge?). But the R8 falls short in several major categories, such as 0-60 acceleration, horsepower, and value. The R8 is $14,130 more than the GT-R, and is considerably slower. 0-60 in the R8 takes an almost slow (well, not slow, but slow compared to the GT-R) 4.2 seconds, but at least the top speed is 186 mph. I find the 4.2 liter V8 far preferable to the Nissans 3.8 liter V6, but is much less powerful. 430 hp isnt that much anymore. Even the Dodge Charger SRT8 has 470 hp. But one of the positive points of the R8 is the interior. Not very complicated, but a nice place to be, especially with the quilted leather seats. Click here to go to the Audi website.

The interior isnt nearly as nice as the R8s, and almost looks like an old Nintendo console. I dont like it very much, and I could say the same for the rest of the styling. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 Review
The highly anticipated 2014 Corvette is finally here, and it meets all of my expectations. First of all, it has a naturally-aspirated 6.2 liter V8 that Chevy calls the LT1. The interior is modern and functional, yet still includes bits and pieces that remind me of older Corvettes. Some of the main competitors for the new Corvette are the Porsche 911 and Cayman S, the upcoming BMW M4, the Dodge Viper, and the Ford Shelby GT500. In the past, I havent loved the Corvette, but I am having a hard time disliking the new one. Great job, Chevy.

The first Alfa Romeo car to bear the Quadrifoglio Verde was the RL driven by Ugo Sivocci that won the 14th edition of the Targa Florio in 1923. Since then, all racing Alfas have carried the emblem for good luck, ensuring its worldwide recognition. Starting in the 1960s, the symbol also began to appear on performance versions of road-going Alfa Romeos.
The Quadrifoglio Verde versions of MiTo and Giulietta have assumed a place in the tradition of the best Alfa Romeos, drawing on the heritage of dynamic performance, without compromising on efficiency, respect for the environment and convenience in everyday use. Alfa Romeo cars have always been dedicated to those who expect a response that goes beyond the concept of useful means of transport to cross over into that of the truest excitement.
Giulietta celebrates its 60th anniversary with a new Quadrifoglio Verde version
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Giulietta is now available in a new Quadrifoglio Verde version, a true expression of Alfa Romeos racing DNA. With respect to the other versions in this range, the new Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde is characterised by a decisive look and a strong personality. In addition, it features the exclusive engine inherited from the Alfa Romeo 4C supercar: the new 240 HP direct injection 1750 Turbo Petrol aluminium-block engine combined with a next generation 6-speed twin dry clutch Alfa TCT.

To mark the launch, Alfa Romeo will present a special Launch Edition Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde in a limited edition featuring specific components such as: carbon spoilers and mirror fairings, front and rear sports DAMs, side skirts and 18" alloy wheels with five holes and glossy Antracite finish. The Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde Launch Edition will be available in Alfa Red or in Competizione Red (triple coat) in addition to the exclusive matt Magnesio Grey livery.
Exterior
Outside, the car is distinguished by the typical ride of a true sports car and by the legendary Quadrifoglio Verde emblem located on the side panel, near the direction indicator. Furthermore, a glossy Antracite finish for mirror fairings, front grille, door handles and fog light frames distinguishes even further the new Quadrifoglio Verde within the Giulietta range.

The new moulded steering wheel with leather trim and contrasting white (or red) stitching is supplied as standard. The gear lever boot and the parking brake lever are leather coated with white and green (or red) stitching. Aluminium sport pedals, specific kick plate with QV logo, black roof lining and special mats complete the new versions interiors.
Engine and transmission
After its introduction on the Alfa Romeo 4C, the ranges top performing engine is now fitted on the new Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde: the new direct injection 1750 Turbo Petrol aluminium-block engine delivers 240 HP at 5750 rpm and has excellent specific torque and power values for its category, namely: 194 Nm/l and 137 HP/l. Extraordinary elasticity and sportiness are ensured by the 340 Nm max torque that remains stable in the 2000-4000 rpm range, but is already 80% available at only 1800 rpm.
The 240 HP direct injection 1750 Turbo Petrol engine implements an innovative aluminium block and specific intake and exhaust systems which have been optimised to enhance the sports appeal of the car even further. In addition, it boasts cutting-edge technical solutions including direct fuel injection, dual continuous variable valve timing, a turbocharger and the revolutionary scavenging control system which rules out any turbo lag.

The new 1750 Turbo Petrol engine is matched with the state-of-the-art 6-speed twin dry clutch Alfa TCT in a combination made of automatic transmission practicality and sequential shift responsiveness. In detail, the transmission works in either all-automatic or sequential mode. The up and down positions of the precise and ergonomic gear lever are managed manually by the driver, who can also choose to combine it with the shift paddles on the steering wheel. The cars character can be customised by the driver using the Alfa DNA driving selector to enhance its features of comfort, performance, safety and efficiency.
Another special feature of the Alfa TCT fitted on Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde is the Launch Control system for managing starting from a standstill. Furthermore, with respect to the previous Quadrifoglio Verde, the new Giulietta 1750 TBi 240HP TCT guarantees a significant reduction of CO2 emissions, dropping from 177 to 162 g/km.
The top-performance emblem is thus reinterpreted with a modern touch, combining the utmost driving pleasure with greater environmental awareness for an eco-conscious and sustainable sportiness.

With this engine, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta guarantees outstanding performance: top speed of 219 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds, 4.4 l/100 km fuel consumption and 116 g/km CO2 emissions (in the combined cycle).
The main feature of the 2.0 JTDMJet-2 engine is without a doubt the next-generation Common Rail injection system that uses innovative injectors able to control the amount of diesel injected into the combustion chamber with utmost precision with a particularly quick and flexible injection sequence thanks to the balanced hydraulic servo valve.
More in detail, up to eight injections per cycle are possible together with strategies that optimise the increasingly advanced combustion, such as the Injection Rate Shaping (IRS) system which involves two consecutive injections so close together in time as to generate a continuous and modulated fuel supply into the cylinders. In this way the combustion process is improved, all to the benefit of quieter operation and particulate and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Furthermore, the new injection system is even simpler and more reliable because the injectors have a simpler structure.
